Yes. What if he got hurt drunk driving or did something crazy, then you would wish you would. Definitly.

I will tell you what happened to me,
We went back east to visit relatives, my older sisters were talking about going to the city to go drinking and parting. I told my mom out of the same concern you have for your brother.
Tattle tailing was not my intentions, there safety was.
Gosh 20 some odd years later both sisters still feel I am a tattle tale, and guess what? I do not care if they still call me this! If they have not figured out by now I was doing it for there own good, then they need to grow up. I should add that both of my sisters are now alcoholics. It is so sad too!
Do what you feel is right in your heart. Alcohol is a drug and alcohol kills.

You need to help your brother by telling on him. This may sound harsh- but I mean well... rat him out! He needs counseling and maybe rehab. I know you don't want him to get into trouble, but if he gets into an accident, gets into a fight, gets arrested, or drinks too much and gets alcohol poisoning/ brain damage, he will be in way more trouble.
If he becomes an alcoholic, he will be in trouble for the next 25+ years or until he gets sober- or passes away from his alcoholism.
You can find help for yourself by calling your local Al-Anon and/or Ala-Teen chapter. It should be in the phone book or you can get the # by calling information. Al-Anon is for the families of people with alcohol problems. They can help you learn what to do and not to do in order to deal with him, and can teach you how to take care of yourself, release stress, and give you a place to go and talk things out. Ala-Teen is for people in your age group. Good Luck- be brave.

Yes, you may feel guilty, but it's the best for him. He could get really sick or make a bad mistake, if you do not tell your parents. I found my brother smoking, and i told my mom, and he stopped, but something bad could of happened. Please do it, even if your brother will be mad. It's for the best. I promise you, that you NEED to do this.
~!good luck!~

Yes tell your parents. Your brother will be mad at first but tough. I would rather have him be mad then fell bad the rest of your life because he got killed in a car accident or something.

Tell your brother how worried about him you are. Let him know that you will tell your parents if he does not stop. He could get himself into a lot of trouble!

I want to say "Yes" you should tell, but brace yourself for a serious beat down. I drank at 16- along with the rest of my grade. Nothing ever happened to me or anyone I know, but looking back... we were really stupid.

ask your self the question - is he hurting all and sundry? Is he letting alcohol take over his existence? whilst he is going to those events, does he come homestead drank? If he isn't hurting all and sundry, ingesting and using and is able to do nicely at college, then i could say that he's doing for the exciting of it, yet having pronounced that it is not my relatives. in case you rather do sense as in case you are going to be able to desire to tell your mum and dad (like your loved ones is close withe one yet another) then decide for it. perhaps you may tell your make certain, yet do it in a fashion that he won't understand which you informed on him. occasion: coach your mum and dad that facebook element and that they are able to hold it as much as him. If he ask them what they have been doign on facebook, they could say that they have been seaching on the internet for somebody else and discovered him. *Sounds lame, even though it may desire to artwork*

Go to him first and tell him that you know he is drinking and tell him that you are going to have to tell your parents because you don't want anything bad to happen to him. Then tell your parents.
