NO Jesus did not sin. Why would anyone think a movie is totally accurate? The Passion of the Christ is a good movie, but since nothing is really written about Jesus' childhood, the part where he throws a bucket of water at his mom is fantasy.

Yeah, and Darth Vader was Luke's real father. C'mon, it was just a movie.
Now the Bible says this about Jesus:
Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Jesus did get angry when he overturned the money changer's tables. But it was not a sin because Jesus was angry for a reason.
Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment....

What are you all talking about. Are you seriously asking the question "Did Jesus sin because he threw a bucket of water at his mom?"
1. As everyone is already saying, this is a fictional account of a real story.
2.The real question your asking is this, "is it a sin to throw water on your mom."
the response to that question is then a little different. Who is the mom, what relationship do you have, what were your intentions etc. etc. Get context. I've done things similar to my mother, but that is my family.
Bluntly, your perception of sin is skewed. Sin is not just some deed done or a mistake made. "oops i stubbed my toe, guess I'm not perfect anymore". Thats ridiculous. What if you threw a fast ball and nailed the batter in the temple, knocked him dead. Did you just sin. NO.
Sin is unrighteousness, it is the disobedience against God. For crying out loud it is sin to not worship God.
Sin, worship and sovereignty seem to have lost their biblical context and taken on a very bad meaning in our society of beleivers today.

It is nice to know that there is at least one person who will ridicule a Christian simply for being a Christian.
No, Jesus did not sin. What Mel Gibson portrays in a movie is not necessarily what happened in real life.
If Jesus had sinned, He could not have been the sacrifice for those of us who do sin.

The Passion of the Christ is not all Biblical, and wrongly add R. Catholic fables to it's story. Your example likely is one of them, and it is not in the Bible.
And Jesus NEVER sinned, and thus He alone could atone for our sins an rise again, that those who repent and believe on Him for salvation - not in their merit or that of a church - can be born again and see the kingdom of God. Praise God.
(1 Pet 2:22-24) "Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: {23} Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: {24} Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed."
(Acts 3:19) "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;"

According to the Bible, Jesus did no sin.
You got to remember that movies very seldom follow the books that influenced them the way they are written. They add things to beef the story line, and take out things that should have been left in.

Movies take all KINDS of liberties with the truth. Where is that in the Bible? Jesus NEVER sinned. It would have made His death meaningless.

No he was perfect, Paul says: For we know that the Law is spiritual; but I am fleshly, sold under sin. For what I am working out I do not know. For what I wish, this I do not practice; but what I hate is what I do. If, now, what I do not wish is what I do, the one working it out is no longer I, but the sin dwelling in me. Miserable man that I am! Who will rescue me from the body undergoing this death? Thanks to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! "The Son of man came, not to be ministered to, but to minister and to give his soul a ransom in exchange for many.” For the love the Christ has compels us, because this is what we have judged, that one man died for all; so, then, all had died; and he died for all that those who live might live no longer for themselves, but for him who died for them and was raised up.
