I have an inconsistent sleeping schedule. I can't sleep and wake up on time. Sometime I sleep more and sometime I sleep less. I find out that it is not healthy to have this habit. I was thinking I want to reduce my sleeping hours to less than 7 hours. So that I have more times to do more things. Do you agree that sleep less can still have a great effectiveness? I have try so many ways to reduce my sleeping hours. But I did not have a good displine. So finally I give up of trying and sleep 7-8 hours per day.

How about your sleeping experience? How many hours you sleep per day? Did you wake up and sleep consistently everyday ?

7-8 hours of sleep

I have noticed that I need less sleep now, sometimes only 6 hours. I never need to use an alarm, but you cannot force it, your body knows what it needs. When you are young you need to sleep more as you are still growing and maturing. Apparently some really brilliant people only need 5 hours, but you cannot make yourself brilliant by only having 5 hours sleep!

I get about 8-9 hours of sleep everyday.

On average i sleep 4-5 hours a night . And i function at optimum with that amount of sleep. So my advice is allow allow your body the rest it request as long as it doesn't interfere with your commitments. I that case the alarm clock is your best resource.

Well lately i have been staying up all night till like 10 am and sleeping till 5 idk why i cant sleep anymore but when my sleeping decides to be normal i get like 5 hrs of sleep or sometime 10hrs lol i cant keep it normal its all retarted it pisses me off then cuz i cant do anything that i want to do

I'm a light sleeper, so i wake up easily.

I always attempt to get my 8 hours and usually succeed. It doesn't make much sense to me to deprive yourself of sleep to "get more things done". You'll be more efficient when you are well-rested.
