The Chi works REALLY well. It is not suppose to damage your hair, but I don't believe any straightener wil not damage it. The Chi is a little bit on the more expensive side though, but it is definitely the best I have used so far and my hair is naturally curly.

Least amount of damage is NOT a chemical straightener (i'm sure you knew that, but apparently some one else didnt!)

Ceramic flat irons are your best bet, Chi is the best of the best. If you go to any beauty supply store (try Sally's or Ulta, they are usually staffed by beauticians) and they can find the best one for you in your price range. It doenst hurt to try a heat protecting conditioner or sirum.

pass to sally's splendor they have a marvelous one there ... won't manage to recollect the call besides the undeniable fact that it is the subsequent element to the CHI and it fairly is like 70 greenbacks or maybe a splash greater it fairly is all a hundred% ceramic and that may not injury your hair in any respect. success!

well, ALL straightners will eventually damage your hair, if you use it often on high heat.
my advice: talk to your hairdresser and ask what they reccomend for your hair. i was looking on the internet at a CHI, but after i talked to my hairstylist, i found a $60 straightner at Sally's Beauty Supply that works just as well, for a cheaper price.

to minimize damage to your hair, use a styling product like a smoothing creme or mousse. that will give u a barrier between ur hair and the hot plates, causing less damage.
