I'm planning to meet my sister at Texas and would like to bring my Wii and PS3 along. The Wii I think I got it covered because I still have the box... the PS3 on the other hand....

Yeah, I need a bag can protect from, you know, my PS3 thrown in the plane, crushed by other luggages, and other things I can't imagine at the moment.

Alternatively, I'm hoping to get a big scrolling suitcase and covered my PS3 with the clothing and such I'll be bringing along.

Your best bet is to pack it into it's original box using that packing then get a solid suitcase. Hardshell and pack the box in there along with your clothes ...I'd be more concerned that you may have your luggage " show up as lost" and loose your ps3. get your luggage insured ...

Wrap it up in a bubble-wrap, put it in a plastic box, give it another twist of bubble-wrap and put it in a hard suitcase.
