First of all, I wish your family only the best. The songs you have on the cd already are my favorites! Here are a couple you could consider:
Newsboys - He Reigns
Mainstay - These Pages (they have some other good songs too if this one isn't what you're looking for)
Jeff Deyo - Nothing Less Than All of Me
Jeff Deyo - Bless the Lord
Kutless - Run
Hillsong - At the Cross
Jeff Deyo- Love of God
Hillsong - Break Free
Kutless - Shut Me Out
Jeff Deyo - Nothing On Earth
Audio Adrenaline - Miracle
Hillsong - From the Inside Out
Kutless - Sea of Faces
Jeff Deyo- Glory Rain Down
Hillsong - You Are My Strength
tobyMac - Do You Know
Jeff Deyo - I Am Yours Forever
Those are my favorite. I appologize that they are messy. I hope that the cd you make for her can help put a smile in her heart. God bless.

I suggest this song written and composed by Lanny Wolfe, "Someone is Praying for You" because it provides such profound comfort to those who are experiencing deep sorrow. God bless her and pray the Lord will meet every need, keepr her in the shelter of His arms and bring her husband home safely.
Have the clouds 'round you
Gathered in the midst of a storm
Is your ship tossed and battered
Are you weary and worn
Don't lose hope someone's praying
For you this very day
And peace be still is already on the way
Someone is praying for you
someone is praying for you
And when it seems you're all alone,
and your heart would break in two
remember someone is praying for you
When it seems that you prayed
'til your strength is all gone,
and your tears fall like raindrops
all the day long
Jesus cares and He knows
just how much you can bear
He'll speak your name to someone in prayer
Someone is praying for you
someone is praying for you
And when it seems you're all alone,
and your heart would break in two
remember someone is praying for you

Hello Linnea,
I hope I don't short out my keyboard, you have gone and made me cry all over it. You are the best sister-in-law in the whole world, with all her problems she is truly blessed to have you in her life.
I do not have a list because I think Zeldagirl's list is pretty good and I agree with her list with the
addition of "Word of God speak" by Mercy Me (not Kutless).
When you decide on your list, share it by e-mail and I'll send you or her a dollar. A list of songs that lifts your spirits when you are troubled is worth at least that much. I have prayed and I will pray for your brother and his wife. Let her know that she is not alone with the heartbreak of miscarriage, my wife and I have suffered in the same way. Do not forget to minister to your brother, men tend to suffer in silence, he is probably hurting too. Now after many years my wife and I know that God has a purpose for our lives and He loves us very much.
God lost a son too, and He understands.
God bless you.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that about her. I'll pray for her for sure! The CD that is my absolute favorite it called "Enter the Worship Circle". The songs always make me so happy that sometimes I cry because they are all about God's goodness and His love for us, and how He'll never leave me. They are a different style of music. They use flute, tamborines, bongo drums. It's good music! Alot of people in their teens and early twenties especially are into it.
Here's a link to it. I gave you the link to the First circle, it's called. There's also second and third circle, but I think the first is the very best! I know she'll love it! There's also a play list next to it so you can hear the songs, #5 is my fav.

A long time ago, Michael W. Smith had a CD called "The Big Picture". It has a lot of hard rock songs on it that address sadness inside. It has helped me and several friends through the years. Look in to Bob Bennett's music as well, although it's hard to find. He is a very deep soul who has known his share of pain and knows how to express it musically. Praying for her.

People other than me will have better music recommendations, but I can recommend a book that can be read as a devotional. It is a series of very brief and convicting letters. The book is called The Seeking Heart by Fenelon. It can be hard to find sometimes but it is a great book.

Try some contemporary Christian music. It's generally upbeat and powerful.
As for the loss of the house?
It is illegal for a bank to foreclose on the home of a member of the Armed Services while they are away serving. Have your S-I-L contact your brother's Commandant's office here stateside. There's lots of resources for her to tap into.

Haven't bought many Christian Cd's, but a hymn that really helps me is "God Will Take Care of You". I sing it to myself quite a lot.
How about 'The Garden'--I go to the garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses, and the voice I hear, whispers in my ear, the Son of God discloses...And He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am his own. And the joy we share as we tarry there, none other has ever known.
I will remember your family in my prayers. God Bless.
