How about www.projectprayerflag.org ?This organization gives you name of a service member in Iraq. You send them a care package and send cards and letters of encouragment to them through out the time they are stationed in Iraq.You are given a small flag to send to them.

Right now there is requests for about 500,000 flags.

I would check with the chaplain's office at the nearest military base and see if there's a charity to donate to.

The USO has been supporting American troops for... forever? They are a great organization.
