I weigh 140 pounds and I am 5'4 3/4'' - I would like to become a vegitarian for health reasons. Is that a good idea?? If it is, could someone give me a plan I could stick to, considering the rest of my family eats meat products daily and I also don't have much self disipline. I like all fruits except for figs&papaya's, and I like alll veggies, depending on how they are prepared. Oh yeah, I ADORE peanut butter. I also don't have any food allergies, so don't worry about what is put intp the plan. I hope that somebody can help me with this!!
Thanks!

you can limit the amount of meat you take to just one day every week or every forthnight, meat is still the best source of iron.....for breakfast you can have banana and milk, or bread and nuts paste, anything like almond spread or hazelnut or macadonia nuts and honey with a glass of milk...fo r lunch you can have salads, soups and anything else and for the rest of the day after 12 at noon do not eat anything except water.

Becoming a vegetarian can have great health benefits, however being a vegetarian and eating a lot of junk food will not help you with your health. I am a vegetarian (ovo) and have been all my life, and I know people who have been meat eaters that have switched and noticed a significant improvement, also, how much of an improvement depends on how much and what types of meat your were eating before ( as just with vegetarians, meat eaters can have a fairly healthy or non-healthy diet) There are a lot of resources available, here is one free e-book I found after doing a quick search for "become vegetarian" on google ( www.veggie123.com ) you might also consider going off of milk as that can also provide a significant health advantage ( www.notmilk.com) also.

The quality well being arguement I've learn for being a vegetarian is the guide, The China Study. It is going over a few reports that had been performed by way of truly researchers and normally proves that consuming animal proteins are horrible for you. You can get it normally wherever. Read it, study the data you discover in it. and I'm definite you can be satisfied that a nutrition freed from animal merchandise is the one technique to pass if you happen to care approximately your well being.

i tried this, and it did work, but not because i cut out meat out of my diet. its because when you stop eating one thing, you eat healthier in general because you watch what you are eating. but it worked for me, and it only took me a few days to completely stop eating any meat products.
