hello everybody,i need some help,4 months ago today i had my interview for my green card and (i was so happy) i was approved.i was told that i would have receive it by mail but they didn't know exactly when beacause the f.b.i. first have to run the background check.i said ok but now all these months are passed and im getting worried and worried .i think what if they lost it?what if and what if .....is there any of you that now if this is normal or how long this process take or can advice in what i should do ? i thank you all very much very much for tyour time

FBI name check is backlogged a lot. Some cases even to 9 month to 1 yr. You need to be patient and you can get FBI number from USCIS. There is no logic or order that FBI and USCIS runs the system. Good luck.

You should go in and make inquiry.

You also have right to sue the Immigration. Read this:
