I was at my friends house today when she said that she wanted me to see something. So we went into her room and she pulled out a Ouija board. We put our fingers on it and asked it what it's name was. To my horror, the triangle thing started moving!!! I asked my friend a million times if she was moving it, but she wasn't. We found out that his name was Ian who died in a car crash 8 days ago and that he wanted us to help him. We asked what he wanted. It spelled out B....L....O....O..D we were TERRIFIED and we immediately hid the board.
Now I'm at home and I'm scared. But is it really something to worry about? =S

Let me tell you my story.
I became a Christian at the age of 12. When I was 14, my brother got an ouija board. Well, I figured why not play with it just once? What's the harm? So I gave it a shot.
Immediately, being Christian, the Holy Spirit convicted me. I went before God and repented and renounced it and vowed I would never use it again.
Well either that night or some other night I was upstairs in my room. It was darker than usual and a thick eerie presence. i felt fear around me. It did not feel the same as it had before.
I looked up and I seen this red demonic face with a dark grey mist around it looking at me. I was so terrified I could not move. I stared at it and it at me for who knows how long. I was so scared I could not scream or do anything.
Well the Lord shown me mercy and gave me enough strength to in barely a whisper say Satan, I rebuke you in the Name of Jesus!
I looked again and the demon was gone. It has never returned since.
The Lord shown me mercy because I had repented and renounced it from my heart. He casted the demon out and the rest of the night I slept downstairs because I was too afraid to sleep in my room.
So I say...
Repent from your heart.
Renounce the ouija board.
Vow to never play it again.
Keep your word.
Never play it again.
Call out to Jesus with all your heart.
The Blood of the Lord Jesus cover you and the Lord God bless you and keep you.
Jesus will help you. Call out to Him.
Stop and do not play with it anymore lest something WORSE than what happened to me comes upon you. For if that happened to me...who only played it but once...How much WORSE will it be for someone who plays it over and over again?

I see you'e got alot of advice but if you were a christian and a strong one at that you should have known that you were tempting the Lord and he says in
Deuteronomy 18:10-12King James Version (KJV)
10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.
11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
King James Version (KJV)
This means anything or any person that tries to contact the dead. Stay away from them and your friends house. Be careful and always speak with angry power and authority in Jesus name I command to leave my house, you have no authority here. I speak peace in this house and ask the angels who serve God to protect me right now. Remember if someone was trying to break into your house and hurt your mom you would be angry screaming and fighting and thats how you have to speak to the demon with that kind of authority.

Parker Brothers did not invent the Ouija Board. It had already been around for awhile when it was bought by Parker Brothers in 1966 and turned into a commercial success as a board game. Its beginnings lie in the distant past when an earlier version (a tripod device) was used in the ancient ways of Babylon and Greece to contact departed spirits. The tripod became the pointer now used with the Board, which is printed with the alphabet, the numbers 1-9, a 0 (zero), and the words 'Goodbye', 'Yes', and 'No'. There are other boards like this with different names, but with the same history and purpose. The modern version of this game was developed by a man named Planchette, a spiritualist (someone who contacts the dead as part of their religion). The Board was further transformed around the turn of the century under the direction and ownership of two men, Elijah J. Bond and William Fuld. Fuld’s name can be seen on the Ouija Board today. The name Ouija is a combination of the French and German words for 'yes': Oui and Ja. According to Bond and Fuld, the Board suggested its own name. The primary purpose of the board is and always has been to contact disembodied spirits. Contacting the dead is called necromancy, and contacting spirits is spiritism, both strongly condemned by God (Deut. 18:9-12; Lev. 19:31, 20:6; I Sam 28, II Kings 21:6; Is. 8:19, 19:3-4). The Board’s translated name, 'yes, yes', is an ingenious and subtle way to invite spirit contact. Dead people cannot hang around after death; you cannot communicate with a dead person. The practices and techniques of contacting the dead and contacting spirits are used widely in the occult. Although the pointer is often moved intentionally or subconsciously by the players, you are putting yourself in a vulnerable position when using the Board. By 'playing' this 'game', you are showing an interest in spirit contact. If contact is made, it is demons (evil spirits, fallen angels), not the dead, who are responding. If Satan can disguise himself as "an angel of light" (2 Cor. 11:14), then it is not improbable that fallen angels can disguise themselves as the dead. The Ouija Board is not harmless just because it is marketed as a game. Satan, the master of deception and seduction, is good at twisting the truth into lies (Gen. 3:1-6; Jn. 8:44). Satan likes disguises and his lies are often disguised as games. The next time you are tempted to play the Ouija Board as a game, look beyond its disguise and see it for what it really is. Think about this: Just what or who are you trying to contact? God tells us to seek Him instead of the dead (Is. 8:19), and Christ "lives forever to plead with God" on behalf of those who believe Him (Heb. 7:25b). Who wants the Ouija Board when you can know the One Who has "complete authority in heaven and on earth!" (Matt.28:18). If you are wondering about Christ, think on His words in John 5:23b-24, "He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father , who sent him. I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life."

Well, I haven't much experience with them, but I do believe that Satan can use open minds to wreck havoc. I also believe sometimes that people (a group of) can move an item without knowingly moving it.
Whatever explanation, if it is something that makes you feel uneasy, don't use it, or feel pressured to. Don't feel a bit bad about telling your friends that you are uncomfortable with it.a
Also, know you are able to pray to God for protection from these feelings and know you'll feel safe. At best, the devil uses these things to put doubts and fears into peoples' minds and open the door to believing in witchcraft (which is what the use of these are).

I don't know much about Ouija boards since I've never fooled around with them. The board itself cannot harm you. But I do believe they are a tool of Satan's, as are fortune tellers and the like. Only God knows what is in our future. If you are a true Christian, turn to God for guidance and strength. He will care for you and protect you from Satan's influence if you will but give it to Him and then let it go. "Yea tho I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil". Let God have complete control. Prayer Warrior Sarge.

First off, DON'T BURN THE BOARD! That is the stupidest thing you guys can do. Don't ever mess with it again! Everyone that has said things about opening doors to demons is right! Never play around with that again. I personally have never been near one, I see one in a toy store I get as far away from that damn thing as I can. I'm 18 and was told NEVER to mess with Ouija Boards and that was told to my by my psychic godmother and Laurie Cabot (the official witch of Salem, MA). Laurie Cabot is a real witch and knows what she is talking about so I think I'm going to listen to them. Also, they told me not to mess with Tarot Cards so I suggest you stay away from them as well.

Ouija boards are for blind people & do not have a place in the life of a Christian~ Moreover, the fear you allow to be in your heart, is one the biggest dangers~ if people play with witchcraft then the Lord will let the devil led you~ Ask the Lord for forgiveness & stay away from that ignorant object~

I remember answering a similar question not too long ago. Look, you and your friend need to get rid of this Ouija board right away.If she insists on playing with a Ouija board do NOT go over her house! You are opening a door that you will not be able to close if you do not stop! You have encountered a demon. You need to pray the Lord forgive you and do not even go around a Ouija board again. Have an adult burn it. These demons are powerful and can harm you. Rebuke them in the precious name of Jesus Christ! Stay away from anyone who does this and encourage your friend to stay away from this thing also. Remove anything in your home that has anything to do with the occult. Horoscopes, tarot cards, anything that has anything to do with the spirit world. Pray to the Lord for protection!

first of all- NEVER SCREW AROUND WITH A OUIJA BOARD! it is an open door now, and this spirit probably wont leave you alone until he is at peace. a lot of times they want help finding the person that killed them or for you to send a message to someone they love and left behind- so you should do some research on the accident and what happened. many spirits just want justice, but if he still wont leave, then something is wrong and it is probably a demon. at the same time demons may also have tagged along with the human spirit (for example: the spirit may have asked you for help, and the demon may have pushed him aside and been the one who said "blood")- thats why they often seem to be schizo or something. DO NOT burn or throw away the ouija board until the spirit (and/or demon) is gone- that will close the door before he is able to leave! thats how hauntings start!
I dont know how religious you are- but it helps to seek advice from a religious leader. other than that, burning sage while asking the that the spirit not dwell in the house is a good temporary fix. Prayer is the best way.
God will always help you if you ask him for help and truly trust that he will keep you safe!
