I found this site (www.templeofsumer.org) on Sumerism, and it talks about everyone having a "personal god" that intercedes on their behalf to the greater gods. So I was wondering if anyone here was a Sumerian, and if so, how they chose their personal god.

Muss-olini, goto http://templeofsumer.org/myth02.html. This explains the cosmology of the Sumerians. The personal god is just one that intercedes for the worshipper to the greater gods. Much like Jesus is supposed to do for Christians...

I have never personally met anyone online or in real life who practiced Sumerian paganism. I don't think it's very common. Interesting though.
