Jesus said that we should look at the speck in our own eye before judging others. But Jesus reached his limits with the Pharisees and the money changers in the Temple when he got mad. If the Republicans or the Democrates put forth a program promoting abortion (murder) then it must be opposed. Opposition implies a judgment has been made. So using common sense, we must make determinations about some things, especially those things we know are wrong.

poloticians are hypocrites! a real christian would probably never be one!
and those are such rigid categories! people tend to pick sides because of one issue that is important to them- but if you were to look at ALL the positions of each side, niether of them truly fit with christian beliefs.

But to answer your question...you're right. Most Repubs are nothing more than "Sunday Morning Christians" who act out of line when they think nobody is watching...

I know a lot of Dem's and liberals who are devout christians. I also know a conservative atheist. Political view and religion are apples and oranges.

the verse about judging ----if you look at it in context - actually says it is wrong WHEN you are doing the same thing.....
if you are not doing the same thing...then it is ok to complain.
