I am a MtF transsexual who was raised in a religious home.

I have been asking Him for an answer to this question, but I haven't received any answer that would explain why He put a womans' soul in a male body. With all the torment I've lived through, I've been told that if I continue I will go to hell when I die. As I see it, I am living in hell while trying to work through my transition trying to correct this "birth defect."

Arrogant answers will be reported!

Yes this is a tough path but honestly it will only get worse if you try to deny who you are. You know yourself better than anyone else and if you feel like a woman than you are a woman. One's physical body does not determine who they are or in some cases like yours it doesn't determine your gender. These feelings are not sinful. You never chose this. It's just who you are. I really really don't understand why some people feel the need to condemn you to hell just b/c your actual gender differs from your genitals. Try to seek out true friends who will love and support you for who you are. Talk to people that you trust and try to come to grips with this reality within yourself. You CAN believe in god and be transsexual. Just know that your god will accept you for who you are no matter what. You aren't hurting anyone. God doesn't condemn anyone to hell, people do. Why? b/c they fear what they do not understand. Try not to let their ignorance negatively effect you.

Sweetheart I'm so sorry that you feel like God has forgotten you. Maybe he knows that you are strong enough to handle this. He never gives us more than we can bear, but there have been times in my life that I'd want to disagree. God would never let you go to hell because of this. He made you and he loves you just as you are. God doesn't give us what we ask every time and at just the moment we want it. He's waiting to give us something better in the time we really need it. I knew a girl when I was growing up and she was a man trapped in a woman's body. She seemed to be happy and I hope she was and still is. Honey, I'll be praying for you to find peace.

Wow! I realize that's uncomfortable! Besides her age do you prefer her as a man or woman? Does she appears to be worried for your lifestyles? Honestly there may be not anything you'll be able to fairly do approximately it. If they love each and every different you haven't any say so in who your father chooses to like, in particular if they've a baby at the approach. Yes, the age change is unacceptable, nonetheless it is your fathers alternative... Btw have you ever and your sister instructed your father the way you 2 suppose approximately it? Best factor to do is to admire her and deliver her a risk! Good good fortune and check out to not strain your self out approximately the age change. And make the pleasant out of getting a brand new version to the loved ones! Good Luck :)

I don't think He did it to you. Remember the curse of Adam? What Adam did was turn over the keys of the physical realm to Satan. It was the physical world that was cursed, not the spiritual world. When Adam turned over the keys, God didn't interfere. He will not interfere until the end of time.

Your soul is spirit, your body is flesh. God allowed you to have a girl inner being manifested in a male body due to the curse on this world. Gender and sex are not one in the same. Gender is who you are, your being, whereas sex is the body. This has nothing to do with being gay or the sin of sodomy. Living as a woman/girl has nothing in itself to do with sodomy or sex.

You cannot focus on the question of "Why did you do this to me?" Doing so will only drive you insane. The questions should be, "What purpose do you have for me being created like this? How can I serve you and my fellow humans? What insights can I offer others due to being created like this?" We need to focus on God and on others, not on ourselves, our inadequacies, and what we do not have. For me, I believe I have insights into gender, stereotypes, hormones, and other things, which most others don't have. So from that perspective, this is a gift which we can use to help others.

Paula, I am so sorry for the condemnation. Know this, no man has the right to condemn another...that is God's place!

I want to address the issue of "Why Did HE do this to me?" Paula, God is a perfect God and a loving God. NEVER, would God do this to any of HIS creations! Now, I understand that you feel like a woman but, were born a male. I have studied much psychology and I can tell you that many of your feminine ways came during the formitive years! Much about who we are is developed within the first few years of our lives. I do not know how you were influenced but, if you think back....I am sure there was much feminality in your early childhood days. Your situation is NOT a birth defect....it is something which was instilled at an early age and it has caused you to think much more feminine than your male peers. This is not God's doing, this is something which evolved, over time, given your situation during the formitive years.

I am sad that you think life feels like you are in hell. Life is to be treasured! It is a gift! Paula, please allow me to pray for you as your question has really touched my heart deeply! Let's agree to pray together that God will answer your hearts questions and give you peace, joy and the ability to love life! I want you to know that I truly care that you are in pain and I will keep praying for you as I know God hears and answers all prayers! I will surely keep you lifted up before the only one who has a right to judge....God!

God Bless You and if you need to talk, e-mail me!! I am serious! I will take the time as I see you worthy of my time and my prayers! Smile....God loves you and there is a purpose in your life!

Most Sincere,
Gail

Why do you threaten to report an arrogant answer? Everyone has a degree of arrogance and many people regard the truth as arrogance. Off on the wrong foot there.

i don't think you have a woman's soul. i think soul's are genderless.

you have a soul that is in conflict with your person, because you desire something taboo because of your gender.

first, do you really want to be a woman, or do you want to change your appearance as an outward expression of who you are inside? are you gay?

changing your gender will not right a wrong if there was no wrong to begin with.

if you are gay, then you do not have a woman's soul in a man's body. you have a man's body that is attracted to other male bodies.

aside from a barbaric 2000 year old book and the prejudice it promulgates, there is nothing wrong with that.

if you are attracted to women, but still want a woman's body, it could be that you recognize the woman form as beautiful and the male form as ugly. hence, you want to transcend your male form because, until you do, you can never be physically beautiful(in your own mind)

i don't know your specific situation, but, there is only one way to get to hell, biblically, and that is to not accept jesus as your savior.

since hell doesn't exist anyway, you don't have to worry about that, but your uber-fanatic religious family you will have to deal with.

this is no different than stating you are a non-believer. what you have to do is demonstrate that, through research, there is no basis for which someone can tell you you are going to hell. if you can show your family with the bible, that there is no basis for such claims, then they will get off your back.

they are just using the bible as a way to push what they want on you. they have to bring a higher power in because they know they have no real authority, but since you can establish that all are sinners and that all are forgiven, you can take that weapon away from them. if they can't accept you after that, that's their problem.

personally, i don't think you should become a woman. you should be who you are, in the body you were given, but ultimately, that is your choice and no one should be able to use the threat of hell to take away your wants and needs. that's terrorism and it's unnacceptible. i hope you sort this out with your family.

good journey.

I understand what you are experiencing, I too was tormented for many years. You may not want to hear this, but I had to have a demon cast out. As soon as it was gone, I felt normal and was no longer hurting and feeling like I was living in hell, which I was here on earth. Most churches and Christians have not experienced this so they cannot comprehend what you are going through. Pray and ask God to send you to someone that believes in deliverance. You will not believe how wonderful you will feel after deliverance. I will be praying for you too. God loves you and wants you to be happy and live a normal life, without torment. That is why Jesus died, to destroy the works of satan.

I've only seen the first 2 replies to your question, dear one, but both were exactly correct. God doesn't make mistakes. And we aren't being arrogant, we're telling you the truth. God loves you and created you male for a reason. Perhaps it's time you searched for the reasons why. I promise you, it will be worth every moment you spend searching!

God bless you!

It could have happened when you were born, there could be witchcraft or a number of things involved. If any of that is the case God takes responsibility to send power to deliver you.
I said POWER. Power of the Holy Ghost my friend. You will probably wind up having an amazing testimony!

God does not expect you to feel condemned and does not want you to feel condemned. He LOVES you. I would just say Father in Jesus' name if you want me delivered from this.......send someone to pray the prayer of faith with me and I'm leaving this in your hands. See I have had situations like God said to work or I won't eat and I couldn't find a Job. ........so I expected him to find me one. Or he says to PRAISE HIM and I can't because of one blow after another so I have to say make me able to praise you Lord. I don't expect you to be anything other than what you are without God's POWERFUL mighty delivering hand of salvation upon you. Your responsibility is to ask him and leave it there. May the Love and Peace of God and his delivering power be upon you. May you grow in grace and the knowledge of him and be at peace. Bless you.
