My boyfriend is going to be stationed in El Paso, Texas. I currently live in Maryland and am planning to move there with him. I am interested in teaching on the military base where he's going to be stationed. How would I find information on that and what are the requirements?
Also, what's it like teaching at a military base school? Is it different than teaching at a civilian, offbase school?

The exact same thing as a public school. The DODDS classes are among the best in the nation, and follow the national curriculum. From my experience, most of the kids on base are well behaved, and if not you will probably get a faster response from their parents before a Commander of First Sergeant get involved!!

You would have to contact the El Paso School District. In the U.S. the few schools which do exist on bases are run by the local school district of the civilian areas around the base.
Overseas, the schools are run by the Defense Department's Overseas School System.
Other than making sure you have proper insurance on your car and an ID to get on the base, the schools are about the same. The student body, however, is not. In the higher grades you will have a classroom brimming with world travelers, as opposed to the insular children of "civie land".

I don't know about Ft. Bliss specifically but for the most part the stateside schools are run by the local school board even if they happen to be on the actual base. That means that you have to qualify to teach in TX (or any other state you go to) just like anyone else who applies for the teaching job.
Since specific educational requirements vary from state to state it sometimes makes teaching a hard field to transfer. For example I have friends here in CT who have only been allowed to substitute here even though they have teaching certificates from PA and SC. One option to look into is getting a national certificate. That can make qualifying from state to state a lot easier.
