If you believe that then answer this,
Why would God create humans if he knew he would have to drown all of them except Noah and his family? Why not create Noah and his family in the first place? Are you Christians aware that in your "great flood" there were MANY innocent children and babies who drowned? What kind of loving God is that? Don't give me that crap about, "well the innocent babies and children went to Heaven so it all works out" NO it does not! They still had to drown, painfully.
I know this is not really a question but more of a statement but I don't care.
Here is the real question...........
Why create the beginning when you can simply create the end? Why do SOOOO many need to suffer in order for him to see that which he already knows he will see?

Tough question ... Let me give it a shot!
You have absolute free will within the confines of your personal ability. You can prove this to yourself. Determine two possible courses of action. Has God prevented you from doing anything? No!
Having a disease, being raped, or murdered, are not choices. But they are the result of others choices. Certainly, God is capable of destroying evil and suffering--but not without destroying human freedom, or a world in which free creatures can function. Each of us has had wrong thoughts, evil thoughts. Each of us has done something wrong — something evil. Why does God allow evil within us? None of us deserves to escape punishment, and yet God allows escape, too. If we ask why there is evil, we should also ask why there is mercy.
The assumption that God could just put the good people directly into heaven and avoid making the others seems to be valid for God, but has some problems when applied to us humans. For some reason, skeptics such as yourself leave themselves out of the equation. They want God to run the 'thought experiment' so to speak and put those souls who would make the right choice (believe in Jesus Christ) directly into heaven and not even create those who would reject Him. Should He tell people what they would have done and let them be content with that? How would those souls know anything about life, goodness, and doing the right thing if they had never lived before? God could be considered to be unjust, since His actions would not be based upon choices made by real characters. Would God just put those fake memories into their heads? If He did so, God would be creating deceptions, which contradicts His perfect character.
When people think deeply about their "perfect" plan about what God "should have done," they realize that there are logical problems. What most people would create, as god, would be robots, since they would have no choice at all. Ever try loving your computer? It is not a very satisfying relationship right. So it would be with the robots that skeptics would send directly into heaven.

I think it comes down to the fact that people don't really know that much about God. The Bible comes from many sources, many different times. It's been edited together such that it doesn't even agree with itself. In some cases, like the creation in Genesis, and the story of Noah's flood, there were two stories just put together, one after the other.
There are questions that have never been satisfactorily answered. Why man is not perfect, since he's God's crowning achievement, his favorite creation, and why bad things happen to good people (or at least -innocent- people). NOBODY can really explain these things but people come up with reasons which others cling to, repeat, and they become part of the culture. When -other- traditions do this, we call it mythology. When -we- do it, we call it theology or doctrine.
As Hillaire Belloc put it:
Oh let us never ever doubt
What nobody is sure about!

the bible says that all people were corrupt and the earth was filled with violence. GENESIS 6:11 that included everyone except Noah and his family. you have a good question about babies, but the bible doesn't say there are babies. it dosen't state that there aren't either. either way God said all the people were corrupt. if you want to know the truth you have to believe then accept Jesus in your heart then His spirit will live inside and reveal to you thru HIS HOLY SPIRIT what you want to know. Just ask HIM in your heart no one has to know you can do it alone or i help you. HE is real i used to think the same you do, then someone asked if i knew where i would go if i died today. i didn't know where i would go to heaven or hell. then i asked Jesus to forgive me for my sins and i believed HE (Jesus) was the son God and HE died for me. it was the first time i knew God was really alive and he loved me. He loves you and He wants to answer all your questions. read this scripture romans ch.10 verse 9-12 He wants to show you He is real and He loves you. it doesn't matter what you've done. Give HIM a chance to prove He is real to you! God bless you hope you say that prayer don't let your mind get in the way of what God is doing in your heart.

We are not in a good position to assess the probability of whether God has morally sufficient reasons for the evils that occur. As finite persons, we are limited in time, space, intelligence, and insight. But the transcendent and sovereign God sees the end from the beginning and providentially orders history so that His purposes are ultimately achieved through human free decisions. In order to achieve His ends, God may have to put up with certain evils along the way. Evils which appear pointless to us within our limited framework may be seen to have been justly permitted within God’s wider framework. We are limited observers trying to speculate on the probability that God could have a morally sufficient reason for permitting a certain evil.

God does not have to justify himself. He is beyond mine and your basic understanding. He wanted to rid the world of sin, God is not held by these worldy constraints, so you do not know what you're talking about. God is all powerful and all knowing, we should humble ourselves and not question the almighty God.

Like in Greek myths gods simply existed to be worshiped. Religion is primitive and made to explain the things we didn't know than, and for some reason people feel the need to keep these cults going.

Don't know why you are bothering to ask believers questions like this. If they really bothered to think at all they wouldn't believe, unless they were a little dumb. Happy Xmas.
