hi i'm about 5'8 and 200 pound and i run a 4.5 on 40 yard dash and i m a junior and i m planning to play football next year what position do i fit in and would droping about 15 and work out and gain muscle would that be better ?

adding muscle and losing fat will increase your overall athleticism but that won't neccessarily transfer into better performance in sports.

that's what sports specific training is for. do a Internet search on Specificity of Training

cuz u'll be faster if you weigh less and the more muscle u have the more agile and durable of an athelete.
