Microsoft windows update fails with no error code?

It downloads all updates and then fails all of them what is the problem? when i review update history, it says i havent installed any. have already cleared data store

Yes it is the onloy user and it is system administrator

Try doing a custom install and only select one update at a time. Reboot your computer after each update. Do the critical updates only to start, then go to the next recommended ones.

I know this will take longer, but I have had some stubborn updates that I had to do one at a time.

All my updates for the past six months to year have been smooth without having to do this. So hopefull once you get past this one glitch you will be fine again.
