I was watching Crufts 2007, which is a dog show, in case you didn't know, and the most popular dog in america is a Labrador Retreiver.

Depends on what movies come out that have dogs in them...or what celebrity wants to show their teacup whatever off. When 101 Dalmations came out..everyone wanted a dalmation. Same with Paris Hilton and Britney Spears with their smaller than a pocket pet dog.
I personally like a good Lab mix. Smartest dog I've ever owned.

Labrador Retrievers are the number one registered dogs on the AKC website for this year, they make wonderful pets!
