Yes, under Nevada law it is legal for you to be in possession of alcohol under these conditions:
Underage Possession of Alcohol
Possession is prohibited WITH THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTION(S):
• private location
• OR parent/guardian presence
• OR legal-age spouse
• one or more specified religious, educational, or medical purposes
There are no laws on consumption of alcohol:
Underage Consumption of Alcohol
Consumption is not explicitly prohibited
There are also no laws on hosting an underage drinking party:
Hosting Underage Drinking Parties: Criminal Liability
No criminal social host law
----------------------------------------------
I personally find it acceptable and helpful for a minor to consume alcohol in reasonable quantities under parent supervision. Not only will the minor learn how their body reacts to alcohol but when outside the home they will be able to make responsible decisions.
I recommend you start with a glass of wine at dinner.

Not sure about in the states, but in many parts of the world it is ok for minors to legally drink as long as it's served with a meal and under parental supervision. I mean you're 18 though, you can get married, or join the army and yet you can't drink.
I suppose it would be ok as long as you aren't lollied in public, otherwise (theoretically) the sacrement in the catholic church would be illegal.

Will American readers PLEASE recalll that the country isn't the only English-speaking united states of america and do because of the fact the British and Australians do - verify which united states of america the positioned up comes from previously assuming it rather is on your guy or woman united states of america. The question became into published in YA-uk. below uk regulation an grownup in charge of young ones can enable them to drink alcohol on private premises. Any grownup who does so although could desire to be sued in the event that they allowed human beings's little ones to drink and this extra approximately them coming to break (a suit could be much less probable to prevail if the mummy and dad of the little ones in touch had customary in boost that alcohol could be obtainable and had nonetheless allowed their little ones to attend).

I would be very carefull with this idea. In Mediterranean countries like France (in the south) and Spain, minors sometimes get a very small amount of (diluted) wine at mealtime. But this is to let them feel part of the (wine) culture in these countries.

nope.. your parents will end up in jail if caught and you will be in juvenile detention. You could end up end up in child protective services....
No one under the age of 21 is allowed to drink alcohol.
Providing alcohol to minors is seen as a worse crime.
Drinking under the age of 21 is a leading cause of alcohol abuse in adults.

Consumption is not prohibited in Nevada. However, if you are out in public drunk or drinking, in possession, or having drank anything then driving, then it is illegal.

Sure, if you want your parents to go to jail and lose custody of you for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Save something for when you get older.
