my observation maybe wrong, but i've seen many atheists with top contributor label.

not always .... but yes many of them are
they dont tend to keep that status for long though
as the orange badge thingy usually draws out the report trolls and bang goes the account

I had my TC badge for about 6 months with no interruptions, but then I got lazy about getting best answers, so I lost it.
I think it has to do with being a top contributor, not an atheist.

There are Christians and free thinkers, and pagans, and Wiccans out there as top contributors. I don't know about all of them, some of them have more sense than the rest of us not to share religious views. I think I'd like to go back in time and join them.

Nope. It's only your imagination. NO atheists ever get Top Contributor.

If you take a look at the Top Ten Contributors in the section, you'll see that less than half are atheists. I'm one of them, Paul S is another, nondescript is another, and I think that's it.

I would say the top contributers are people who contribute the most.
