I used to feel that way but now I dont. Most of the time I'm not a very jealous person but I used to get upset when my bf didnt IM me when I knew he was online. But now im over it. I just know that im not the only person he has ot talk to . He has other friends. Or he has other things that he is working on. Im not needy so i dont need him talking to me every second of the day.

Not really. I get online a lot and don't IM anyone. I am not always in the mood to chat. Sometimes I just want to be left alone.
My friend Peggy emails me at work every day. And she always replies with big huge paragraphs within ten minutes of me writing her back. Not only do I not have time to read big long emails every ten minutes all day long, but I also don't have the patience to deal with her writing me to say, "Did you get my last email? Are you mad at me?" blah blah blah. lol

yeah.but if its a guy duhh they wont im you.they expect that you are always going to im first and you think that they are going to. so at the end you end up not iming each other at all. always im first.then the other person feels mroe compfortable

Maybe he's waiting for you to IM first. Try it and if he doesn't reciprocate, then you'll know something's up.
