Can an Athiest Explain this?

My uncle used to be a hardcore athiest and i used to live with him. One day at night the dog was barking real real loud so me and my uncle both woke up and went in the living room where the dog was barking an then we both so the angel the dog was barking vicously at. Then the angel said "Here is your turn to be saved" then it dissapeared in thin aie and the dog stopped barking then we both went to sleep. And the next day me and my uncle were talking about the angel we saw so i know i wasent dreaming anyways can an athiest explain what happend

I dont know my uncle was the meanest athiest ever. And he would scream "if thiers a god strike me down right now "

angels are magejstic glorious creatures and would bring the dog to softness not barkign.

If the "supposed" angel did say that he would be speakign against the word. We can not earn salvation through angels, salvation is given to us by the Word and the Holy Spirit.

I love God and all he has done but your story is a complete lie.

You are not making this up and I am truly a Christian believer and know that you probaly seen what you seen and the angel was telling you and your uncle to turn their life around because the end for you guys are near (well for everyone) but that if you do not give your life to Christ then you will go to hell and burn for eternity and that is not good.

Sorry, but it really sounds like you made that up. If people need to be saved that means there is some sort of a heaven and one correct belief system which would mean that the majority of people on earth were to be condemned to hell. That seems highly unlikely to me.

I cannot explain it; I was not there. I've never seen an angel, though, so :: shrug ::

I have to say, though, I pretty much trust my dogs' instincts. If my dogs were barking viciously at it, I don't think it was a good thing:)

you could have both been to a German beer festival earlier and seen a religious catholic priest tell you that and you seeing him as an angel, being drunk. Also, your uncle could have taught his dog to attack catholic priests, which explains the barking.
just an opinion, i have many ideas but not enough time to post them.

Well, as a Christian, I would say you had a Demon Problem and should pray for help!
Now I don't think you were sleeping, but demons find the weak easily fooled ones and take advantage of that!
