Just do what ever feels right to you. If you like going to church and it feels ok then keep going and maybe things will turn around. If you are not feeling comfortable in church anymore then stop going and maybe think about either exploring other spirituality's and other religions to see if they feel more right to you. Or consider the possibility that you might be leaning towards the Agnostic or Atheist modes of thought.

The churches have many persons who say they believe, yet they are lost. God would much rather have you come into His church honest and open minded. If you are not sure, say you are not sure. Some say they believe and yet are seen and heard doing and saying things against God. This turns others who are seeking the truth, to doubt God. If you are saying you are not sure then others are not going to be held back when they see you do or say something against God's teachings. Keep going to church if you feel it is the right church for you. You need to pray even though you say you are not sure about God. He will send the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to the truth. When He does it will be up to you to choose between the things of this world or everlasting life. Only you can make this decision. God bless you.

If you want to get a better take on it, there's a really good book called The Faith to Doubt that might help you. There is nothing wrong with going to church even though you're not sure. Something may be said there that will answer your questions, one way or the other. I personally wouldn't tell anybody else, since they would then concentrate all their efforts on getting you not to decide against them, and I think it should be your decision.

I'm an atheist, and I always have been. But I've been going to church every Sunday since I was eight years old. I don't go for the religion, I go because I love the atmosphere, the organ music and seeing the choir all dressed up in robes. I love the architecture and the stained glass windows. You don't have to be religious to appreciate the beauty and wonder of the church and the services. I still go to church eleven years later, just because I love it so much. My vicar knows I'm an atheist, but he doesn't complain, just says that it's good enough that I'm there.
You don't need to worry about going to church, just enjoy it!

No it wouldn't be wrong. Anyone at the church would be happy to talk to you, but choose someone you trust and respect.
It is very common for people to question what they were told as children. It is part of the process of making a faith your own, rather than accepting it from your parents.

No it would not be wrong for you to continue to go and I would encourage you to talk to the pastor and tell him what you are going through and have him pray with you to ask God to open your eyes to the truth and show you the path that you are to follow. You will not offend anyone with this and in fact they should be happy to help you.

My advice would be try to read the bible from cover to cover and then make up your mind because as you rightly realize you don't know what to believe in if you don't have the knowledge. I could send you a few links if you like. I don't think going to church is the answer

By no means should you quit going to church. I question my own faith at times, priests, ministers, even the apostles at one time (or more) questioned their faith. Questioning and doubts are very common and normal among believers, don;t let anyone tell you otherwise! You should talk to your minister or priest about it, trust me, they won't ask you to leave the church.

Continue going to Church and continue to search by asking questions.....the evil one likes it when you become "lukewarm" because he is starting to win.....Scripture says that God will spit the "lukewarm out of His mouth".....so try to be a little hotter and more passionate for the faith!
