When is the earliest that stores begin Christmas sales.?

I want to buy a PS3 but I want some special bundles that come with it so I'm trying to wait until christmas sales begin. When do christmas sales begin? Should I just buy the Ps3 right now?

your best bet for ps3 sales is on sonystyle.com they have the same system with a FREE extra controller that the best deal i found.. you not going to find a ps3 for under 400 (427 with tax)
