The discs, blu ray discs, can be purchased for watching HD movies

-PS3 has a better user interface in the form of the cross media bar.
-PS3 can be used to view music movies and pictures from the hard drive and cameras and not just discs.
-PS3 has a built in wireless adapter and online gaming is free
-The Ps3 controllers is wireless and motion sensing
-THe PSP can connect with the PS3 and show you whats on it remotely
-The PS3 can be used to view webpages
-The PS3 get regular software updates for more applications.
-The PS3 has an online shop for getting games, demos, add ons and trailers for free.
-You can add your friend's PS3s and send them pictures and emails and chat.
-You can edit photos if yuou get the PLAYSTATION EYE.
