ok so i know that with the star card you can use it at the px and commisary....but is there anywhere else other than on post where you can use this card? and i know that aafes.com has their own mall and stuff but i dont like the stores that they have...anyone know of other places???? just wondering......thanks!

As already stated - nope it can only be used on post/base at specific places. If the commisary is taking it now that is new.
This was originally just for uniform needs (UCDPP) at Clothing and sales and then was expanded.

You can not use the Star card at the Commissary, depending on what type of card you have, ie you may only have just a clothing and sales ( in which you can only buy things for your uniforms)card not retail but if you have both you can use your card at the px, online, in the shoppettes even for gas.

You can't use it at the commissary. You can use it at all military exchanges, gas stations and any outlet that is part of the exchange system like the Class VI store for liquor or the "stop and shop" outlets operated by the exchanges. That includes most of the food operations at the food courts on base.
You cannot use it at any outlet off the base, station or post.

NO. It is like a department store credit card and on base is your department store. You can use them at the mini-mart and gas station also, but make sure at your base before you use it.
