You put the amp link in your question twice. There's no way to tell without the speaker specs. The 2500 is meaningless. It's really a 1500 watt amp.
If it's the speaker I'm thinking of, it says 1400 watts, but it's really only 700 watts RMS. Never look at the peak crap they advertise. Only RMS power.
It's a 4 ohm speaker, so two of them in parallel would be 2 ohms and should handle anything that amp can put out.

Both links are the same.

I would have to say I really doubt that amp pushes 900 watts RMS, it's more like 600 watts RMS.

The gain (input sensitivity) is the most important.

The purpose of the gain is to match the signal volts RMS coming from the source (CD player, etc.) to the input of the amp.

Here is a guide that will help you set the gain correctly http://www.datafilehost.com/download.php?file=6d26c621

You'll need a multi-meter (AC voltmeter), Microsoft Excel and a way to burn an audio CD from an MP3.

If you don't have Excel, e-mail me and I'll send you a condensed version sparky3489@yahoo.com

Stay away from products that don't have all the specs (ie. the THD is missing from the list). The lower the THD, the better. (Less than 0.5 % at rated power is desired for SQ).

Look for CEA-2006 compliant amps if you want quality. Also look for subs with a sensitivity of 91 dB or higher.
