For landscapes, look up Ansel Adams or Carleton E. Watkins.
For very early works, try Louis Jacques Mande Daguerre and Julia Margaret Cameron.
For early photography, but in the 1900s, look up Alfred Stieglitz and Lewis Hine.
For depression era, and others, try Dorothea Lange, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Margaret Bourke-White.
Hope this helped.

whimsical, modern, nostalgic. sometimes sad in a very faded, growing old and thinking you've wasted your life, sort of way. other times, childish and playful, has a sense of wonder. i love this guy. check out "dreams of flying".
