Firstly, I take offense that you should be miserable because you're so fat. Some people are supposed to be fat. It's genetic. I'm one of them. And though I should exercise more often and eat better, I'm happy because I give the best hugs this side of the Mississippi. (Have you ever tried to hug a covergirl? She'll break! She'll break! I hugged too hard!!).
That said, it would be nice to know your age, because I don't usually recommend weight loss before a woman reaches 16 or so because her body is busy with puberty and growth.
So what you need is something fun, something you can do with a friend (so you'll keep doing it with her) and a new eating plan that you can stick to.
First off, I think your target weight is 125, right? So that's only 30 lbs. That's not bad. Mine would be 90 lol.
I lost 30 lbs. without exercising by drinking Slim-fast morning, noon and mid-afternoon and a sensible dinner. Slim-fast isn't too bad, especially if it's cold. If you can find the powder, you can make it up in the blender--peanut butter banana is awesome, and so is pina colada. Chocolate mint, mmm. I think I need to go back to this diet!!
I do pilates 3X a week, and I'm getting better at it, but it doesn't really ring my bell. I make my hus, daughter or son do it with me if they're about.
Here's the one you're gonna like, IF you can afford it. We're getting a wii. I have heard that the tennis and other sports really give you a workout. My friends have a wii and people come over just to play with it. There's lots of action and it's fun.
Do you have a dog? Do you walk that dog?
Anyway, just some suggestions. If you can manage to leave out the empty calories, soda, chips & cookies, you'll probably lose a bit just doing that.
Take care, and don't judge yourself so harshly just because of your body size. Check with God. Maybe He made you that way because He likes chubby people. If not, maybe He'll help you lose weight.

Increase your gymnastic time or find something else that interest you like getting on a rowing machine. I have some other suggestions but I don't know how old you are. Talk to your doctor or get over your likes and dislikes. Maybe you have to exercise your mind to make your body do the right exercises that will help you. good luck

u should substitute all the unhealthy foods u eat 4 something healthy and eat things that r sugar free and stuff ut u can eat something u ant sometimes but if u realy want 2 lose weight u will have 2 put more effort into it which means more excercice

same here im 5'4 and 150 lbs i use to be 160lbs but what u do is swim... the cool water makse your matablisim go hyper and its fun... u can tell when your done swiming cause u get hungy then eat GOOD things like fish or chicken

when out at a restaurant ask the server to hold the bread snack mix or chips and salsa that might come before the meal if you re hungry youll be tempted
