It seems that some of your Christian answerers need to stop listening so much to their pastors and actually read the Bible. They seem to have missed qoutes like these:
Genesis 3:16 - "To the woman he said, 'I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.'"
1 Timothy 2:11-12 – "A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent."
As far as I know (and I could be wrong), the Wiccans hold the only religion that treats women as equals. Atheists and Agnostics--while neither is a proper title for a religion--at least stand a chance of treating women as equals, since neither has a cult telling them what to do.

Um, well, I'm not sure about others, but Wicca usually does do this. You may have gotten the idea that Wicca is more "female" because there are Wiccan groups that do focus on the feminine divine, and also there used to be less men because why would a man want to be in a religion where women are treated /equally?/, or so was the mindset longer ago. Besides that, though, I don't really think there are any... Hmm, kinda sad, actually.

As far as I have seen the Pagan religions are the only ones that exult women and give them religious power. In this capacity women are equal to men in all spiritual and religious matters. I cannot however speak for the other polytheistic and pantheistic religions. I do know that all three of the monotheistic religions do not value females as much as males. There are just too many instances where women must find "god" though their husband or their father, and in almost all of them women are not allowed to hold clergy positions. Although I some Protestant sects are allowing female ministers now.

Islam acctualey gives Women equal rights. FOR example in the Quran Allah puts the fault of u know eating the forbidden fruit on ADAM AND EVE. Women in Islam r like pearls.
Allah knows wat we would have 2 go threw (I.E- Girls bein raped and all) So he makes us cover infront of people other then ladies and close relatives.
Oh and Islam treats women with so much respect, a kids supposed 2 love his mom more, she doesnt have 2 work only take care of the house hold, Oh oh and she gets to choose who 2 marry. She has the same ights and same blessings. Thats why Im muslim. Allah loves muslim women as much as muslim men.
And all that rubbish on TV of all those seemingly "muslim countries" doing **** to women is not what Allah wants. U cant judge a religioun or claim 2 follow it unless u know about it.
Hopes this helps!!

Actually, Christianity doesn't. While Ephesians 5 does say, "Wives submit to your husbands," the next verse says, "Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church." Jesus died for the church, so I don't see that as commanding men to lord over women. Also, Jesus several times encountered women in ways that were unconventional at the time, sending a message that men are not the only ones that can come to salvation.
Examples:
- Jesus and the woman at the well.
- Mary listening to Jesus while Martha prepared the meal and Jesus approving Mary.
- Jesus first appeared to two women after his resurrection.
Salvation is for men and women ALIKE.
