ok, my mom gave me her car and i need to take my license test but i can't because of this problem.
my speedometer won't move. it just stays at 0, yes i am driving while this is going on. the only way i can get it to work is if i push the little button that sticks out which is below my speedometer. i have to push it several times.. when i do enough pushing of the button to get it working, then i stop my car it won't move again. i don't know what the problem is please people help me.. thank you

That is the milage counter. When you take a trip it will tell you how many miles you have gone. When you press the button you have cleared it.

Sounds like a new spedometer is in order here. Best way is have Nissan order a new one and have it calibrated for the miles your car has. Handy with screwdrivers and can locate all the hidden screws? Or have Nissan put it in for you. All the spedo has to do is work for the test. Or borrow a car.

Unfortunately nissan had problems with the speedometer assemblies,youll have to go to the local nissan dealer and have them get a new speedometer assembly ordered.
