My husbands mother passed when he was younger and he has not seen his father and family since. We live in New York and they are in Puerto Rico. Are they any possible ways to have help to pay for our airline tickets to be there for the holiday? Our kids are young but only the baby is free- it is hard when the airlines charge full price for children it makes it impossible to fly. Please someone help me find a way to fly my family there for the holiday. Thank you.

Check out the "all inclusive" vacations - especially if you book only 1 or 2 days before you leave - the deals are amazing!! That way you do not ALWAYS have to be with your husband's family and you have some vacation time together.

Call Expedia, they have a payment plan system for situations like yours. Also, I would suggest to create a travel savings account and just contribute to it every month, so next year this time you will not even question where the funds will come from.

Work out a train or coach route - it will be a lot cheaper.
