you don't need any discs to uninstall a program
go into the control panel
then look for - add / remove programs and click on this
it will open the add/remove window
in there - search for the MS program you're wanting to uninstall - click on it - then click - uninstall

or try click on Start (lower left corner of monitor) - all programs - microsoft 97 - uninstall

I quess I may not be the only one confused by your question.
Microsoft made Windows 95, Windows 98, 2000, NT, ME,
XP, and Vista.
Knowhere on Microsofts Site do they give any listing for
Microsoft 97 Pro Edition.
The only way is to put a newer version Operating System Disc in and Install it using the erase Install option when inserting the new disc.
Otherwise you may be able to Format C:/ from the Dos Prompt, this will erase everything, so at this point you will need a new Operating system software or the computer will be useless

Hmm...Im not sure you could try going into the system files and mass deleting them to the recycle bin. But other than that im not sure.
