There's only one way to get to Heaven. That's through Jesus Christ. Although it may not matter what church you're in, do you really want to trust the denomination of Jehovah's Witnesses whose founder predicted Jesus' visible return to fail once in 1873 and again in 1874 (TWICE). Then he concluded Jesus must have returned invisibly. So is Jesus supposed to return a THIRD time? Where does it state this in the Bible?
JC - That publication came from the forefounder Russel. It was the co-founder Barbour who predicted his "visible return". That publication of Russel's came AFTER they broke away from each other. How could his "visible return" only be a "presence"? He actually believed the visible Jesus would return.
Don't put words in my mouth. I did not say "Jehovah's Witnesses predicted it..." Russel is the forefounder and Barbour is the cofounder.
Funny thing about the history of Jehovah's Witnesses is that no one could agree with each other. Russel disagreed with Barbour and they split. Followers of Russel disagreed with him and split and created their own beliefs and people within this new group split. Can we say cult?

Not in the Bible but in the Jehovah Witnesses tracts' leaflets and doctrinal cultist teachings.
There is only one and only One Saviour in the Bible and that is Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:1 to 4; Acts 4:12.

Nina it doesn't say it my Holy Bible - the only way to be saved is to believe God sent His Son to give His life on the cross for all humanity - so we could be reconciled back to God - Jesus Christ was resurrected on the third day - we are then reinstated as God's children.
This is from the Amplified Bible - it's the true meaning of 'believe' -- Romans 10v9 --
*Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.*
If i can just say - my grandmother had a JW friend - and when she died i found watchtower books - i kept them for yrs until i found Jesus - i then put them in the bin - which is the correct place for them.

It is good to see when a person wants to understand what is involved and what it takes to be in the true religion.
By these indentfying marks one can see the true religion.
Identifying marks of true religion
The true religion advocates worship of only the one true God, Jehovah. (Deuteronomy 4:35; John 17:3
An important part of worship that is pleasing to God is faith in his Son, Jesus Christ. (John 3:36; Acts 4:12) This does not mean simply believing that he lived or that he was an outstanding person. It includes appreciation of what the Bible teaches regarding the value of the sacrifice of Jesus’ perfect human life and recognition of his position today as heavenly King. (Psalm 2:6-8; John 3:16; Revelation 12:10
True worship is not tainted by involvement in politics and worldly conflicts. (James 1:27) Why not? Because Jesus said regarding his followers: “They are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world.” (John 17:16) Jesus did not meddle in politics, and he restrained his followers from resorting to carnal weapons. (Matthew 26:52
The true religion teaches and practices unselfish love. (John 13:35; 1 John 3:10-12) Such love is not just spoken about in sermons. It actually draws together in genuine brotherhood people of all races, all economic groups, all languages, all nations. (Revelation 7:9, 10) It sets true Christians apart from the world around them
The true religion advocates God’s Kingdom as the lasting solution to the problems of humankind. (Daniel 2:44; 7:13, 14; 2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:4, 5) Do any of Christendom’s churches do that? When is the last time that you heard a clergyman explain God’s Kingdom and what the Scriptures show that it will accomplish? Does the organization to which you belong encourage you to talk to others about God’s Kingdom, and if so, does the membership as a whole share in doing it? Jesus did such witnessing; his early disciples did. You too can have the privilege of sharing in this activity. It is the most important work being done on the face of the earth today.—Matthew 24:14.
Though there are thousands of religions, the Bible quickly helps us to cut through the confusion in order to identify the true one. But we need to do more than identify it. It is vital that we practice it.
Should the true religion be a profit oriented enterprise, so that its leaders can live in luxury? Matthew 6: 19-21; James 2:1-4; 5: 1-3.
Would true worship try to hide or replace God’s revealed name? Isaiah 12:4,5; Matthew 6:9; John 17:26.
Would the worldwide brotherhood of true worshipers of God be involved in divisive politics and nationalism? Daniel 2:44; 7:14; John 18:36; Romans 16:17; 1 Corinthians 1:10.
Would the worship approved by God permit participation in wars and racial or tribal killings? Exodus 20:13; Isaiah 2:2-4; John 13:34;,35.
Would true worship exalt, glorify, and unduly honor human religious leaders, even assigning them unscriptural titles? Psalm 96:5-7; Matthew 23:6-12; 1 Corinthians 3:5-9.
What kind of conduct should the true religion produce as a result of its teachings? Matthew 22: 37-40; Ephesians 4: 23-29; compare Galatians 5: 19-21 with 5: 22,23.
NOT our truths, it is God's Word that is truth.
Read the scriptures, not mans, but God's truth

The best thing for you to do is pick up a King James Version of the bible and read it for yourself. Please stay away from the Johovah's Witness Cult and their so called church the Kingdom Hall. You will not be saved by becoming a member of any cult. You can only be saved by the Grace of God through your Faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. The only kind of kingdom you'll find with the Jehovah's Witness', is eternal damnation.

The entire Christian Greek Bible testifies to the fact that Jesus has a congregation of believers that will exist during the judgment. Christ's congregation consists of all those who are anointed at any given period. These chosen ones are referred to in Scripture as Christ's brothers. Being one of Christ's brothers is a very honored privilege. Jehovah's chosen ones are very special to him.
That is why one aspect of the basis for Christ's judgment of non-anointed persons is how they treat Christ's spiritual brothers. That is explained in Matthew 25:31-46, in the so-called illustration of the sheep and goats.
Since the Scriptures indicate that Christ gathers all of his chosen brothers into one congregation, that means that there is only one organized religion that Christ recognizes as belonging to himself.
It is not a matter of "joining" some religion, but if you believe in Jehovah and his Messiah, as you claim, then at some point, in order to gain salvation you will also have to recognize who Jesus' brothers are and demonstrate your support of them during their hardship.

God is Love.
ANY behaviour that is not LOVING does not come from God, nor his offspring.
ANY 'religious' school of thought that uses 'fear' as a basis for recruiting new members is a slave of the fear they use and it it wise to steer clear of them.
God calls, God teaches, God strengthens and God sends... yet God is unchanging and never interferes with our lives.
This is a mystery that is easily solved when we understand that we have been given this time so that we may remember how we got back to God.
ANY group that uses a doctrine of fear and punishment does not know God.

The word of Yahweh {the inspired scriptures} do not state anywhere that you have to be a member of Watchtower Society to be saved .Yahshua the son of Yahweh said he was the way and the truth and to follow his footsteps. One of the things he said to do was to make his Father's name known as he did. He did not know any Jehovah nor was he named Jesus as there is no letter J in any language till about 500 years ago . He came in His Father's name YAHWEH not Jesu a Greek Goddess of healing. The name Jesus[Iesous] has the numerical value of 666.Yahshua did not worship God as it was a name for false deity Baal-Gad mentioned in The Torah and Prophets.Baal-Gad is Lord-God in English .Yahweh is almighty and never a god. The name Jehovah God is apostate and in error and comes from Catholic scholarship. from the middle ages a hybrid word from the letters for th divine name Yahweh ;YHWH with the vowels from another word ado-nay{lord} used by The Hebrews to hide His name and allow it to go into disuse. The Jehovah's Witnesses are publishing a false name that means according to the Strongs Refference to cause a ruin which is highly inappropriate for our Heavenly Creator and they are using a false title/name GOD which comes from a Celtic word which means Green Snake . We know from scripture that Satan is the Gad /Goddess of this world and has the whole world deceived including the Jehovah's Witness which have a history of contamination by The Freemasons whose God is Jabulon{Jehovah,Bul or Baal and On for Osirus} . See Palms 68:4 which uses the poetic form of Yah{Jah};note no letter J in scripture .CHECK ORIGNIAL KING JAMES OF 1611 0N LINE NOT THE REVISED EDITIONS AND YOU WILL NOTICE NO WORLD WITH A J INCLUDING the name Jesus NOT THERE.Seek out the true followers Of Yahshua and Yahweh .Sincerly Pastor Timothy Paul a former 3rd generation Jehovah's Witness born into 1957-2000 and delivered by the set appart spirit of Yahweh. May Yahweh bless you in your understanding.Salome
