i think i'm after buring my hair from my hair straightner or damaging it anyway. its after getting very crispy and dry but it gets greasy very fast. something similar happened to me about 3 months ago and i used herbal essecnce for dry/damaged hair and after bout a month it fixed it and my hair was back to its own self. do you think if i start using herbal essence again it will sort it or do you think i'm after wrecking it for good?

you can try that again but you need to stop ironing it for a while. if you keep using that hot iron on your hair, you will just keep ruining it.

I used to have this problem. I started getting my hair trimmed every 6 weeks and using heat protecting products. Thats very important. Its makes a huge difference!!!! What you could do is take hair growth pills to help you hair grow faster so you can grow out the damaged ends. Once hair is damaged its damaged the erbal essence most likely just tamed it down hydrated it but the original damage is still there.
good luck

my moms a hairdresser, and my hair was all split at the ends from straightening. You have to cut it a good inch or else the ends will keep splitting further and further until your whole head is pretty much broken. So cut it, and try this hair treatment called "silk" you can get it at any professional hair store. It will keep your hair soft, and smooth, and it will protect it from heat, like straighteners. good luck! that method worked for me!

you cant wreck it for good, just get the damaged part cut out, now if you want some real help? Go to a stylist.
