It does sound quite opposite to me.

Well, I'm an atheist, so I don't believe in the literal Antichrist, but I'm interested in the theory. I think the Antichrist would be someone who thinks they're just doing their best and is absolutely, staggeringly wrong, which would certainly put GW in a leading position.
Maybe the "forces of evil", if they exist, have taken a leaf out of of humanity's book. You can imagine Lucifer hosting "Antichrist Idol", can't you? Maybe it's down to George and Osama, and all the demons have to call in and vote for the winner...

I don't think George Bush is the Anti-Christ.He's a human being like us with way too much pressure bearing down on him,trying to solve problems that are way over his head.

No the Anti-Christ will not be revealed until the believers in Christ are called up to be with him. It is not until after that happens that the Anti-Christ will be revealed.
