I'm Mormon, and I thought it was pretty funny. This episode was so profound that it elicited a Wikipedia page!

People often talk about the "spirit of the law" and the "letter of the law". Besides a few things that were false in the South Park retelling, the story follows the "letter" of the story but completely misses the "spirit" of the history with sarcasm.
No worries. It's South Park, and we got off easy. At least I'm not a Scientologist...ouch.

It's an exaggerated, over-amplified depiction of LDS doctrine. From what I understand, the creator is a former Mormon so he understands the faith well, however exact truthfulness rarely makes for good entertainment so he colored his interpretation the same way many Fundamentalist Christians do: lie via exaggeration.

reflect for cameras, ameliorations in lens perspective make a huge enormous difference in the way you look. study better about lens angles, yet human beings often look better efficient with a much broader perspective lens. Mirrors also upload intensity idea and fluidity while images are flat. Mirrors are better in line with what human beings see.

It's like looking at it through beer goggles. It's very accurate, but distorted at the same time.

I was born and raised LDS, and they really did a fairly accurate job... But, it's southpark, so the presentation is always delightfully deranged.

Very, although I wish they would make a follow up on them when they came here to Illinois. Now that would make for interesting tv.
