I have just put a big gold Angel on top of my tree, what symbol of xmas do you put on the top of your tree?

Would you believe a stuffed pink unicorn named Darla?
It's true, and there's a story behind it. When my youngest son was about 3 years old, he received in a Happy Meal the above mentioned toy. For some reason he was completely taken with it, and he carried Darla everywhere.
When Christmas approached, Darla was added to our tree. I've allowed my kids the honor of decorating for the past 20 years, and I've had an odd assortment of trees in that time. They have been decorated with Beanie Babies, construction paper ornaments, decorations from school and anything else my children deemed worthy. When Martin was three, Darla became the most worthy of them all.
For 9 years that little unicorn has graced the top of my tree, and will do so until the day I die. She represents the simple beauty that is the world of children, and she stirs in me memories of years long passed.

i was going to say the wife
but thats at Easter
when she is cross
and i like to enjoy Christmas
so my wife puts a picture of me on top of the TREE
first time she ever did this
I SAID "Whats that for SHE REPLIED " It' a BIG FAIRY I always put a fairy on the Christmas tree and could not find a toy one
So I am probably the only person celebrating Christmas with a REAL FAIRY on her TREE

A star or an angel. We have been using the star for quite awhile now. I think that's our preferred tree topper.
