If the nail bed is damaged, it may not grow back at all. If not, the nail will grow back slowly. It takes about three to six months for the nail to grow out completely. People's nails grow at different rates. Toe nails grow more slowly than fingernails.

For it to grow in fully between 3-5 months. Everyone is different, diets, gelatin, proper amounts of proteins all help nails to grow. My Hair and nails grow fast, I have to cut my nails every 3 weeks. In 2 - 3/4 years my hair has grown from just under my earlobes to just below my bra strap, or middle of my back. Good vitamin regimin helps as well.
