i just bought this jeep from a lady who had it parked for the past 4 months, its in really good condition and she said she parked it because it overheated,,she said the overflow bottle was leaking,,i've pulled out the thermostat, topped it up with antifreeze and have driven it 3 days now,,while warmed up and parked there's pressure in the overflow tank but i can't see no leaking anywhere, the temp gauge is staying right in the middle,i did change thermostat so im wondering if there's anything else that should be looked at,,the oil is clean, heater an defrost work like a charm,no odd smell's and seems to be just fine

Sounds like you corrected the problem by replacing the thermostat. Sometimes they will stick closed. Jeep 4.0L I6 engines are the best there is. They will run forever if taken care of. I would check the transmission fluid level and if its dirty have it changed. I change oil in my jeep every 3,000 miles and tranny fluid every 55,000 miles.

Sounds like you are good to go. The tank was overflowing on her because it overheated due to the bad thermostat.

thermostat could have been the problem or the overflow cap was not tight if you drove it 3 days and it is running normal don't worry about it
