tonight i took his temp to see if he was hot and the temp was reading at 35c/95F, to me that seems cooler than normal, so why is he feeling so hot when there are no signs of it? also i find when ever i get him dressed he always asked for short sleeves, and also when its a really cold day i fight to put a coat on him sometimes. is this temp normal?

I am just hypothesizing, but his lower body temp could be why he thinks that a room that is cool to you is hot. Think about it this way, if your body temp is 95 and you touch something that is 95deg then it feels neither hot or cold to you. But if someone who is 98deg touches that same object they will think that it is cold to them. Also my 4 year old is always running around like a wild maniac, while I prefer to do nothing. So maybe his activity level could contribute to his feeling of being hot.

My 5 year old is the same way! It can be snowing and she wants short sleeves and no coat... At night, she sleeps in just a tshirt and panties and kicks all the covers off. I think little kids just run warmer than adults.

Everyone has a different temperature range that they feel comfortable in. Best thing to do is dress him in layers so that he can easily take off something when he feels too hot. One of my sons is always cold and one is always hot. It's just the way it is.

Oh my gosh my 3 a million/2 365 days previous son is the comparable way! He continuously asks me, "Mommy are you warm?" oftentimes I say, no "are you warm", and he will say "no". Then i'm thinking properly why'd he inquire from me that? often times i will even say "sure, i'm warm" in basic terms for him to inform me "no, i'm no longer warm", returned then why are you asking me this? additionally he too thinks that's a pastime while it comes all the way down to doing homework(he's in nursery college). while before he began he improve into continuously excited to faux he has homework and pretended to being going to college. Now that he's certainly a scholar he's not all that involved. that's especially fustrating. i'm getting aggravated to no end. i do no longer want him to fall at the back of and be the only infant who won't be able to write his call. He refuses to be recommended something he's often applicable(in accordance to him). with a bit of luck somebody with genuine perception reads and solutions your question. i will actual examine back. sturdy success!

Perhaps your son has a thyroid condition? You might want to mention this to a pediatrician.
