Your Spirit (Soul). You can only be in your Spiritual body
in the presence of God in heaven.
We all have Spiritual and a fleshly bodies. When you die,
your flesh goes back to dust, and you soul "instantly" returns to the Father that created it.

Death is the separation of the soul from the body.

"Death" does not mean the cessation of breathing or heartbeat, nor does "brain death" mean that death has occured.
The soul isn't "in" the heart, or "in" the lungs, or "in the brain, or "in" any particular part of the body.

Wisdom 1:12-14 "Seek not death in the error of your life, neither procure ye destruction by the works of your hands. For God made not death, neither hath He pleasure in the destruction of the living. For He created all things that they might be: and he made the nations of the earth for health: and there is no poison of destruction in them, nor kingdom of hell upon the earth."

I Corinthians 15:51-58 "Behold, I tell you a mystery. We shall all indeed rise again: but we shall not all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall rise again incorruptible. And we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption: and this mortal must put on immortality. And when this mortal hath put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting? Now the sting of death is sin: and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who hath given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast and unmoveable: always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."

The body will not go to Heaven. Only the immortal soul living in the body will go. The body will lay in the grave and corrode.
The soul is eternal and will never die.

Jesus was resurrected with a glorified body of flesh and bone. He could eat and drink with the apostles. He could be touched. After the resurrection we will be quickened with a complete body glorified to the degree we are judged.

Their sleeping dust was to be restored unto its perfect frame, bone to his bone, and the sinews and the flesh upon them, the spirit and the body to be united never again to be divided, that they might receive a fulness of joy.

The soul goes to heaven while the physical body rots away on earth.

The body is the flesh of a man and is sinful and does not inherit the kingdom of heaven.
Those who accept the atonement are made new and will receive new eternal bodies.
