We're constantly being bombarded with how we have to respect islam as a religion.
Well I dont - respect must be earned, and there is not one single thing to do with the whole global following of islam that is worthy of my respect. It is only worthy of my complete contempt.
Who feels the same?

SHAYBANI-YUSUF- I don't demand one single thing from any muslim in the whole world - except that they don't form any part of my life, society or country.
Islam has given this world nothing but hatred, murder and violence. Allah was the pagan moon-god, who had 3 daughters (you can deny the satanic verses of the koran if you like, just as most other ill-informed muslims do)
Your religion has only given the world murder, hatred, misery and violence, nothing else whatsoever. That is why every single ilsamic country on the globe is light years behind every modern secular country. Your leaders have unimaginable wealth while everyone else has nothing whatsoever.
You follow a barbaric cult which brainwashes from birth, through constant repetition and constant indoctrination. Your lives are controlled so that you follow that evil cause. You're no different from any other muslim though, you know no different. You deny the evils of your religion.
What is there to respect?

BAHAR01 - the only problem is that these people are not just a tiny minority. People were killed by muslims for publishing a cartoon. People still get stoned to death, hung publicly for being gay, or being the victim of rape. I'm not going to excuse one single action of this savage religion - I won't excuse anyone of these atrocities because they're 'desperate' as you do. These people kill in the name of islam and allah. A survey of British muslims indicated more than 35% sympathised with the home-grown July 7th terrorists who murdered 52 innocent people.
These are the facts, I won't excuse any of it.

No, maybe you have respect and tolerance confused. As well as Islam and tribalism. (which a lot of Muslims have confused as well) I think you should do some studying, real studying about the religion and maybe your views would change about it.
From your respose I know I am right when saying you need to learn a few things.

I understand your train of thought, but I am Muslim and find this offending.
What you repeatedly hear on television and on the Internet about "Muslims" beheading, killing, etc. are about uneducated and desparate people who have been raised the wrong way and tought wrong about Islam.
They have lost all hope, family, friends, love....
Anyone would go nuts.
The true and respectable Islam is what few would think of today.
Peace, friendliness and respect toward everybody: whether they be Christian, Hindu, Jewish, atheist...and so on.
There are verses in the Quran which state this clearly.
It says let those who believe, believe and let those who disbelieve, disbelieve. (I can't quote this because I don't have the Book in front of me and I can't remember exactly which aya this was, but I am sure it had this meaning).
Please try to earn respect for the ones who might have kept out of the media, but are trying to practice peacefully and freely.

I do not claim that there is nothing in the world of any religion that is worthy of respect, as I have not seen everything. It is possible that there is something there that remains to be showed to the world. As of yet, islam, christianity, etc. only show their evil sides.

I comprehend the individuals, I even have many acquaintances who're Muslim. yet their ideals and how many extremist have used them for their earnings in considered one of those violent count number has given me a unfavorable view of the religion. most of the countries of the middle East and North Africa have the two outlawed different faith or persecuted them violently. Christian Clergy has been homicide and martyred for their faith as recent as final month. No the place in the West do Muslims human beings journey that form of persecution, different than in keeping with possibility in a communist united states of america. This became right into a faith that for the period of no way went for the period of the type of persecution that the early Christians and the Jewish human beings persisted and nonetheless bear. they have traditionally unfold their faith by violence began in the existence of Muhammad. The began the crusades whilst they invaded the Byzantine Empire. i don't condom today's Muslims for what they did in the previous nor do I desire for Christians to be choose by most of the flaws we've accomplished. yet, we could desire to artwork at the same time to make this international artwork in the trendy era we live in and countless Muslim extremist are unwilling to realize this. I in ordinary terms pray for their sake and ours that greater actual looking persons come into capacity in the close to destiny for them. which could characterize the Muslims that make up maximum of their faith as rational contributors of the international community.

I believe that in order to recieve respect you have to GIVE respect. I have always approached my Muslim Fiorends with nothing BUT respect and treated them kindly, in turn they have returned those very sentiments. I have listened to their beliefs, asked honest questions of them in a respectful fashion. They have listened to MY beliefs and asked genuine questions in just as respectful a manner. I don't paint every Musilm as carrying a bomb, nor do I believe every Christian wearing a cross is out to toos me on a bonfire. When we treat people courteously, lovingly, and with acceptance they will, naturally feel comfortable treated us BAKC in a similar manner. When we paint everyone not like ourselves with the same brush we get back exactly what we've put out. I love and care for ALL of my friends, no matter what their Religion is and,. I listen to them with all the respect that I can muster. If that's not good enough for them, then the problem is THEIRS, not mine.

Look at Turkey, a real secular state. The crap doesn't seem to be happening there, and for that I have respect for them. For the others, it should be learn to live with the World by at least being nonviolent or get the fukt off the planet.
I can see what the apologists are trying to do. In my opinion they are simply ignoring what is happening just to fit in their opinion bloc. Nothing surprising there.

SHAYBANI , Then why the hell don't all the disrespectful Muslims get out of the USA ?
Maybe because they are liars and are just here to make money to send back to make bombs with . Or maybe they are sleepers waiting to blow up another location in the USA for the " Glory" of an uneducated goat herder .
RAJI , I agree that not ALL Muslims follow the teachings of the Qu'ran to the letter . BUT According to the Qu'ran they have to in order to get to heaven. And the instuctions are clear . They have to remove [kill] Jews from the earth , and make everyone on the earth subject to Islamic State Law and kill those who refuse .
Also when push comes to shove will the so-called "moderate" Islamics shove you with their daggers ? [ an example of a moderate Islamic : The woman can work as a cashier , but not smile , say" Thank you , Please , or Have a nice day ." And must wear a head scarf even if it is in conflict with the employee uniforms . ]
And the Qu'ran tells the Muslims that it is OK to lie about their religion and their intents in order to stay safe , especially in a foreign country . So how do we know that their behavior isn't just an act to get us to let our guard down ?
Bahar01 . The rest of those verses also says those that don't believe will be forced to be subject to Islamic State (religious ) Law and be treated as second class citizens . Otherwise they will be killed in a very painful manner . Except of course for the Jews who are to be killed regardless . Religion of "Peace" ? I think not !

No, I don't agree with you.
In fact, the approach is 'Give respect to get Respected!'
That's how you earn Respect.
Keep up with your errands of futility, who cares?
Many of the Muslims would like to endure it with patience!
