The first Mohammed I ever knew of was Mohammed Ali. He was a big deal when I was a kid.
I've known a number of mMuslims named Mohammed. I truly have no idea why naming a teddy bear is any more disrespectful to Mohammed or Islam than it is to Teddy Roosevelt, for whom teddy bears are named.

OK so he maybe an icon /idol or what ever you want to call him, but at the end of the day it's just letters put together to make a noise called Mohammed. I think a lot of them need to get a life and something more important to worry about !!!!

I did. However, after a careful viewing of Suberbad, I was informed my McLovin that Mohammed is the most common name in the world.

Probably
Don't really care
It's still just a name...........if I really liked it, I would name my dog, my doll or a teddy bear.........but I don't really care for that name.
It means nothing to me and I don't give it any thought.
If these muslims have rules on no pictures of this mohammad, than that's their choice.............NOT mine.
Now when did the name have any significance?
I think these certain muslims freaks need a good drink of wine to calm down.
It must be embarrassing for others of this faith to put up with such outrageous fanatic rages over cartoons and teddy bears......ugh.

Many people have that name. The founder of Islam was one of them.

to be honest, I give it about as much thought as someone called Mohammed would give to whether Jones is a Welsh name.

Not me. Then again, my dad's family's from a place called Ali, so that could have a little something to do with it ;) It's in Messina province, Sicily--it was originally a huge Muslim enclave.

I didn't realize that the name Mohammed was such a big deal. I mean people name their kids Jesus. Jesus' name is basically used as a curse word in th US. I may not like people using His name as a curse word but I am not going to kill them over it.
