How do you explain a feeling?
How do you explain something to someone who already has
a pre-existing judgement?
I didnt receive my Faith from a book or even someone telling
me about it.
I received it from experiencing for myself, and then searching more with an open heart.
What would it hurt, try it for yourself.
Go somewhere by yourself and talk to God.
Talk to him as you would talk to any of your friends, tell Him about your difficulties with accepting Him.
Ask Him to show you how to open your heart to Him, so that you can see for yourself, how good it feels that no matter what happens, your not alone.
If you choose not to, fine too.
That's my "explanation" and yes that's the best I can do.
Blessings to you.

If you were more specific it would help.
But my answer would be that many people accept God by faith.
It is through faith they receive revelation of God that no flesh could comprehend without the Holy Spirit,
those who love and seek God's truth receve a gift of faith and through faith comes revelation and through revelation comes a personal relationship with God.

meissen97 is right, things that we can't explain are called Mysteries, and we don't have the knowledge of how they work until we are put into our glorified state in Heaven with God. Until then, we have to have Faith in Him and believe.

King James Bible
1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? 2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, 3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. 6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
