"Do you think that the recent Muslim influence in Europe will be a setback for the secular progress?"
Yes. As for as I am concerned, Muslim are scum of the earth and their hateful religion is only going to spread. Governments of the countries where they immigrate should put a stop to it, because if they don't we are all going to continue to suffer. Muslims immigrate to a country, and then expect the governments and citizens to bend over backwards in an attempt at accommodating their beliefs. When that doesn't happen, they become violent. Look at what is happening in France. What happened to assimilating into the culture of your new country. This is the difference between immigrants of the past and todays Muslim immigrants. Eventually, it will get to the point where the government or it's people will put their foot down, but lets just hope it isn't to late by that point.

I think Americans in general have wrong ideas about the whole world:
Many Americans still look down to latinos
Many Americans still look down to Africans
Many Americans still look down to Asians
Many Americans still Look UP to Europeans, which is still not the right idea.
As for Muslims, they are just another group of people that most Americans don't have the right idea about for the most part, regarless if it's good or bad.

NO, and anyone who says it is a setback is a racist. Criticizing another culture is outlawed by the new liberal dogma. So, if that culture wants to behead a woman for naming a Teddy Bear Mohammed, or if that culture shoots a kid for wearing the wrong color tennis shoes, then white people just have to accept it and shut up.

no. In the long run, the result will be a more secular Islamic community.
Many migrations throughout history have resulted in the migrants adapting more to the new place than vice versa; this only happened to a lesser ectent in North America due to the disease-reduced native populations and the sheer magnitude of the influx.
Scots adapted Pict culture when then came to Scotland. Latin American culture is still heavily native influenced with only a veneer of Spanish.Goths invading the Roman empire adapted quickly to Mediterranean culture. Acadian French adopted native, African and southern aspects to form Cajun culture. I could probably list hundreds of examples if I tried.

Elliot K: Patriotism is not Nationalism. You should try to understand the difference. Two, if you don't believe that the Supreme Court is qualified to solve questions of justice then you are begging for anarchy.

I think we need to worry a little bit about any resurgence of interest in any religion that undercuts freedom of expression and religious tolerance--be that Islam or the Pope thinking that Europe needs to emphasize its Christian roots.
