When my son asked questions about god, I would usually not make a big deal about it - in much the same way that I handled comments about Santa or the tooth fairy - but I told him that everybody has different beliefs, and that some people, like grandma, believe in god, but that others (me) do not. I taught him that belief could be a good thing if it made you happy and helped you to be a good person, but that belief wasn't part of being a good person. I also taught him that some people make a big deal of their beliefs and want people to share them, so they tell people about them a lot...but that he wasn't required to believe, no matter what they said to him. If I were you, I would tell your story to the school administrators - in addition to the impropriety of teaching Christian songs to children in a public school, that the school principal is handing your email around to generate ill will towards you is disturbing. Don't just let this go because you don't want to be a pain - it's not being a pain to ensure that your daughter and all the other children are not subjected to proselytizing in a public school. Good luck.

Most all christian rites were taken from paganism, they took what they needed and left the rest. There's nothing wrong with that. For any religion that people gain spirituality throw is one up for the good energy and we all need more of that...@zen@...

I really think you need to find something better to do with
your time. Here it is Saturday and instead of being out
with family/friends, you are on the computer trying to
rile up Christians.
So Long.

let it go. Americans steal from other countries everyday. are you still going to be an American because of that?

i don't celebrate pagan holidays. so your little rant is moot to me.
