We're both 30 years old.

We were matched on eharmony and have been emailing for 2 weeks. We live a 2-3 days' drive apart. I really like him and he seems to have the same feelings for me.

We want the same things outta life (settling down, getting married, having a baby [specifically a girl]...)

How do we keep this going? I've never had an online relationship before.

I'm gonna see if he'd like to trade phone numbers.

I'd love to meet him in the Spring. I want to take my time getting to know him, but not too long, because like it was pointed out, I'd hate to invest all of this time in someone that I have no chemistry with.

Thanks!!!!

If you haven't met the guy you should take all this with a grain of salt. Get an instant messenger so you can chat real-time and also exchange phone numbers so you can talk. If the feelings of compatibililty continue for a while, you should arrange to meet....within a couple of months. There may not be any chemistry when you do unfortunately. Attraction is partly physical and sometimes it is easier to communicate through mail, when you meet there may be no real feelings. It would be impossible to maintain a relationship over that distance for very long. You need to find out if it is worth pursuing.

Well before you two plan on meeting in person or having a baby, then get to know eachother a lot more.
Talk on the phone, write to eachother through mail. All I can really say is... my online relationships have never worked out for me.

So good luck with it!

xoxo

Well internet relationships don't really work out but It could happen. But I do think you should email him longer before you jump on the next bus and throw pebbles at his window.

Hope that I helped!

Keep talking to him and finding out more about who he is. Give him your number if he doesn't have it already. When you feel you're ready, go somwhere to meet him but bring a girlfriend a long just incase he's a sexual predator.
