Get some calomine oil from the chemist. its better than the calomine lotion as it doesn't leave white marks and you can pop it in the bath. only run the water luke warm but it can be very soothing.

Bathe in Aveeno, in water that is not too hot. This is an oatmeal bath and will help greatly. Bathe 3 times a day. Dry yourself by dabbing the body not rubbing. Use the Calamine Lotion or Oil to keep the itching under control. Use a clean bath towel each time you bathe, and wash them on the hot water cycle, and hot dry cycle to kill any bacteria. Chickenpox just takes a while to heal, and if you do scratch they do leave scars. My Son had Chickenpox so badly he was almost hospitalized. Had them all over his genitals, butt, eyelids, in his ears, scalp and everywhere. Doctor never saw a case quite that bad. Neither did any of our neighbors or family, they couldn't believe he was actually covered head to toes, and the bottom of his feet....Gawd he was miserable....me too

Calamine Lotion to apply to itchy spots, then take a Benedryl. The Benedryl will help the itching *and* make you drowsy so you can sleep through the discomfort!

For the itching try bathing in oatmeal. I know it sounds gross, but it works. For the scars try mederma. Hope you feel better. I had chicken pox when I was 6 years old and it was horrible.

Try Calamine Cream which you can get from any pharmacy. It is better than the liquid version. Just do not apply to broken skin.

Don't scratch! Rub gently, with flat fingers only, to prevent scarring -- PARTICULARLY on your face, okay?
Try calamine lotion on the spots.
Don't take aspirin as it leads to complications later.
