President Roosevelt had created the Lend Lease program to supply Great Britain and the Soviet Union with war materials and equipment, including some war ships. About two months before the attack on Pearl Harbor a German submarine sank the American destroyer USS Reuben James and the U.S. took no action.

i think of the U. S. could have become in touch ultimately. the U. S. army already have been in touch against German U-boats helping take most of the tension off the British army. upload in the reality the British PM on the time needed the U. S. to grow to be in touch and that i think of by the middle of 1942 Hitler could have declared conflict on the U. S.. (MissileM, the U. S. did plenty greater beneficial than what you think of, perhaps you may learn your history some greater previously making silly comments. I additionally do not see a great number of British, French or Russian involvement in the Pacific, oh yeah, that's proper, Russia in no way declared conflict on Japan until the conflict became into desperate, Britain have been forced out by 1942 not returning until the conflict have been desperate, and France, nicely their France, not plenty good for something in a conflict. The Australians help the U. S. out plenty greater in the Pacific than all 3 ecu countries mixed IMO. keep in mind that WW2 in touch the two ecu and Pacific theaters, so why is it Europeans in ordinary terms keep in mind their area? China have been scuffling with against Japan on condition that 1932, the actual start up of WW2, not 1939.)

Of course. Not directly, but through their "lend lease" program with Britain. (The war in Europe was not a big concern for the masses - and big corporations, like the auto giants in Detroit who were hand in hand with Hitler, selling vehicles to Germany....)
